About page

HI readers, I am Divi . This blog is a tiny home for short stories: snapshots of lives, small decisions and the quiet things that live in the corners of our days. I write short emotional stories about friendships, choices, love, memories and the small  magic moments that change us. If a piece makes you smile or emotional - leave a note in the comments. I love hearing from readers, as it will make me feel worth it in the journey of sharing stories with you. It might not be the polished writeup but still its the piece which I am sharing with you.

Happy reading
Thank you

A Heart That Blushed

It starts with a glance, not a word, sound. Just a face in the crowd where my heartbeat is found No promises spoken, no grand sweeping part, Just a shy little flutter tucked deep in the heart. A smile over notebooks, a laugh we half hide, The world feels much warmer with you on my side. It’s silly, it’s simple, and it’s nothing too much But oh, the sweetness of a first teenage crush   T hey say teenage years are a mix of books, dreams and moments you never forget. This story is about a girl and her first crush – a soft, quiet chapter of her life that still lingers in her memory like a faded photograph. It isn’t my story, but when I first heard it, I could picture it like a little film: shy smiles, stolen glances and that gentle magic only the first crush can bring. Class 9: New batch, New books and something new….. A new session had begun: fresh books, tougher lessons and the sudden realization that she was now in class 9. It felt strange as next year she will appear ...

Whispers From Another Me

Hello dear readers, 🌸 I hope you’re doing well and embracing life’s little ups and downs with courage. I’m back again with another piece of writing that I’ve poured my heart into. You know, every corner has a story, every silence hides a voice and sometimes the most unexpected places hold the most powerful journeys. So today, I invite you to walk with me through this story - no spoilers, no hints, just a path that may surprise you in its own way. Let’s begin…   “What if another version of you was already living the life you only dream of?” The morning sun was rising, a faint glow seeped through the thin curtains - painting the walls in soft peachy orange. But her room was heavy with silence, except for the sound of the ceiling fan that pushed warm air around. The faint glow slipping through the curtains made the mess of her desk look harsher- bundle of books, a pile of old resumes and notes. Kim lay awake and staring at the ceiling, her phone lay silent on the bedside table, waiti...

Dear Younger ME

Sometimes we imagine that life will follow a clear plan. We tell ourselves that by a certain age everything will finally make sense - the career, the dreams, the person we become. But life has a strange way of rewriting the stories we once believed in. Today I want to tell you a story. A story about a 29-year-old woman. Let’s call her Aisha. It was a Sunday evening. Aisha was cleaning her room when she found an old box hidden behind some books. Curious, she opened it. Inside were old photographs, a school badge and a small diary. She sat down on the floor and started flipping through the pages.Suddenly she stopped at one page.Written in messy handwriting were the words: "When I turn 30, I hope my life is perfect." Aisha laughed softly. “Perfect?” she whispered to herself. For a moment she imagined the girl who had written that line - 18 years old, full of dreams, believing life would follow a simple plan. She closed her eyes and imagined that younger version of herself sittin...
